Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of SAP, Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR
Master’s degree and 8 to 10 years of SAP, Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 10 to 14 years of SAP, Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR
Diploma and 14 to 18 years of SAP, Computer Science, IT or related field experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
Extensive knowledge of SAP platform implementation and operations, including managing Basis, development, integration, and security. Proficiency in SAP architecture, landscape design, development & integration standard processes, and security controls is essential.
Demonstrated experience in implementing highly integrated S/4HANA and BTP landscapes. A deep understanding of the latest SAP technologies and their application in optimizing business processes is crucial.
Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing strong teams. Ability to foster a collaborative environment, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic, regulated environment.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of AWS infrastructure services and cost optimization methods to efficiently manage cloud-based SAP environments, leveraging cloud offerings to implement best-in-class solutions from development, integration, and security perspectives.
Understanding of DevOps methodologies within SAP, along with expertise in SAP BTP integration and security practices such as GRC, to enhance system extensibility and future-readiness of the Global ERP platform, ensuring consistency to the highest security standards and Amgen policies.
Familiarity with AI/ML, GenAI, and SAP Business AI to use advanced technologies in optimizing SAP solutions and driving innovation.
Professional Certifications (please mention if the certification is preferred or mandatory for the role):
SAP Certified Technology Associate (preferred)
SAP on AWS (preferred)
Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
