Role Overview:
As a Senior Manager, SAP Basis you will be part of the SAP technology team (TCN) and is expected to contribute to the global SAP implementation/support team. As a member of this team, you will assist in the design, development, and adoption of application management capabilities focused on areas such as ERP, Manufacturing, Research, Mobility, and Big Data.
You will work with the latest, robust, and updated SAP Architecture on Cloud and contribute to the roadmap towards S/4. What will you do in this role:
Managing day-to-day operations support for existing systems and coordinating offshore resources and activities.
Go-live cutover activities, post Go-live stabilization, and support activities.
Troubleshooting and problem resolution. Root Cause analysis for Service requests failures/outages, performance issues – continuous improvement methodologies
Bring in Continuous Improvement Initiatives, to address technical pain points and enhancements in the Service Delivery
Provides guidance on technology and project approaches in line with best practices and corporate strategies and standards.
Able to follow up, follow through, and deliver quality and timely results.
Able to prioritize workloads and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
Able to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and apply them to evolving business needs.
Able to communicate successfully at different levels of the organization.
Strong experience with planning, design, installation, upgrades, implementation and technical configuration of SAP modules and components.
Experienced with complex SAP and non-SAP technical integration and monitoring solutions for SAP applications and platforms.
Strong knowledge of instance, database, and query tuning to improve the performance of the database/application.
Good knowledge of networking and infrastructure, including operating systems (Linux, Windows, etc.).
Good understanding of firewall, IDS, and basic knowledge of Security Operations Fundamentals.
Basic understanding of network protocols.
Basic knowledge of other databases: Oracle, Sybase, etc.
Role might require occasional slight overlaps with US (EST) time zone, SGP time zone and/or EMEA CET time zone.
Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, clearly articulate security, and control risk exposures, and interact with development teams, configuration teams, various technical support teams, and business stakeholders.

We are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking professionals with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
BSc Degree or equivalent or higher with at least 8+ years of relevant work experience as SAP Basis administrator.
Experience in SAP products: ECC, SAP BTP, SAP HANA, SOLMAN, Cloud ALM, GTS, GBT, SCM, Portal, XI, Gateway, BW, BOBJ, SLD, SideCar, GRC, Mobility, ARIBA, eSourcing, FIORI & S/4 HANA.
Strong knowledge in SAP-supported cloud platforms, mainly AWS.
The successful candidate will cover all aspects of SAP Basis administration, including system installations, upgrades, problem analysis and resolution, client copies, system refreshes, SAP instance configuration, and performance tuning for a complex system landscape.
A deep understanding of the SAP platform, its underlying database, operating system, and hardware platform is required.
Preferred skills in Project and Delivery Management, excellent analysis, communication, and documentation skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
Experience with large-scale IT solutions, governance, and release management in complex organizations.
SAP NetWeaver Certification in the latest SAP releases, SAP HANA, or AWS Cloud platform is a plus.
ITIL Certification – Nice to have.
