 As a Manager Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming large and complex data sets into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will leverage your expertise in data analytics, statistical analysis, and data visualization to uncover patterns, identify trends, and solve complex problems. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring that your insights lead to strategic decisions that enhance business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Data Analysis: Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Utilize advanced Excel, SQL, and Python programming to manipulate and interpret data.
  • Data Visualization: Create intuitive and impactful data visualizations using Power BI to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Statistical Analysis & Hypothesis Testing: Apply statistical methods and hypothesis testing to validate findings, ensure data accuracy, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct thorough exploratory data analysis to identify key insights, potential issues, and areas for further investigation.
  • Machine Learning (Optional): (If applicable) Implement machine learning models to enhance predictive analytics and automate decision-making processes.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize analysis results, providing actionable recommendations for business strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency through data analysis and provide recommendations for automation or optimization.
  • Mentorship & Training: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, sharing best practices and ensuring the continuous improvement of analytical capabilities within the team.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of macros, and complex formulas.
    • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
    • Python programming experience, particularly in data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
    • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing and regression analysis.
    • Experience with exploratory data analysis (EDA) techniques.
    • (Optional) Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools.
    • Worked on Enterprise Resource Workforce management tools like Kronos, Saviom , Replicon ..etc
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • High level of curiosity and a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in mentoring or leading junior analysts is a plus.
  • Industry-specific knowledge (e.g., finance & operations) is an advantage.
