Job Description:

About the Job:


We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head our Physical Security & GSOC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive physical security and risk monitoring program to protect our employees, assets, and operations. This includes identifying and mitigating potential security risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain a secure and resilient environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Physical Security:


  • Develop and implement a physical security strategy aligned with the company's overall risk management framework, policies and procedures


  • Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance & monitoring of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection and Incident Response


  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation measures


Risk Monitoring:


  • Develop and maintain a risk monitoring framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential security risks.


  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and assess potential risks, and implement mitigation measures.


  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends, and adjust the risk monitoring framework accordingly.


Compliance and Regulatory Management:


  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to physical security and risk monitoring.


  • Collaborate with internal Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure effective risk management and security practices


Incident Response and Crisis Management:


  • Develop and implement incident response and crisis management plans to respond to security incidents


  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to respond to and manage security incidents.


Budgeting and Resource Management:


  • Manage the physical security operation budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.


  • Oversee the selection, training, and management of security personnel.


Stakeholder Management:


  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, facilities management, and IT


  • Communicate physical security and risk monitoring strategies and initiatives to stakeholders


  • Build professional relationship with external partners, including law enforcement and regulatory agencies


What You’ll Bring:


  • 10+ years of experience in physical security, risk management, preferably in financial services Industry


  • Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive physical security and risk monitoring programs.


  • Strong understanding of security risks and threats in the financial services industry.


  • Experience in setting up and managing the Global Security Operating Center ( GSOC)


  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and project management skills.


  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CRISC, CISM, CISSP)


  • Shift timing 2pm to 11pm IST


Education:


  • Education (e.g., Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, or related field).


  • Certification in Milestone and C-Cure ( Preferred) -Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.


Good to Have:


  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS).


  • Experience with risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).


  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
