Job Description

Be part of the high-performing team behind Amazon’s generative AI-powered products like Alexa and Rufus.
We are hiring a strategic leader to lead operations in emerging technology space like Generative AI/Agentic AI and enable Amazon launch delightful products and improve customer experience (CX) across the world. If you are customer obsessed, passionate about data and operations excellence, keen to learn, agile, have ability to influence leadership teams and like working with partner teams across time zones then this role is for you.
Key job responsibilities
a) Design and drive strategy and execution for a large (600+ member) multi-site operations org
b) Define success metrics for the org and establish scalable mechanisms to deliver on these metrics.
c) Collaborate with and influence a wide range of cross functional teams covering tech, science, product, program and operations teams to deliver best outcome for the business and end customers
d) Drive continuous improvement culture and set a high bar on operations excellence
e) As a people leader hire, manage and build a collaborative and high performance culture
About the team
This role will be part of OPTIMA team within Core Shopping org. We at OPTIMA enable Amazon deliver a superior shopping experience to customers worldwide by leveraging our global, cross functional team to deliver comprehensive CX quality insights and ground truth data to measure and train ML (Machine Learning) models and launch new CXs.
a) Bachelor's Degree
b) Built and led a large (600+ members) and multi-site operations team in a fast paced environment
c) Experience with partnering with and influencing cross functional teams
d) Excellent written and verbal communication skills
e) Ability to influence senior leadership
f) Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
g) Built and scaled high performance teams and led manager of managers
a) Experience in AI/ML/LLM Operations
b) MBA or an equivalent Master’s program in general management
c) Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt Certification
