Ltd Senior Manager, Learning (National Curriculum) Purpose of Role The Learning Head (National Curriculum) will lead the development of ISP’s national curriculum schools (CBSE/ICSE) across India. Reporting to the Regional Director of Learning, the role involves working collaboratively with the Principals, Heads of Departments, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the long-term success of the national curriculum schools within the ISP India network. We positively engage with personal and professional development and school improvement. Key Responsibilities Strategic Responsibilities:Embed ISP’s Learning approach
Establish ISP’s Learning Framework and approach and align it with the requirements and overarching objectives of the national board.
School Leadership Development:
Identify and nurture leadership talent within the national curriculum schools, ensuring alignment with ISP’s strategic framework and the schools' vision for continuous improvement.
School Growth and Sustainability:
Ensure that the individual schools progressively become the schools of choice within their catchment areas, focusing on long-term growth and sustainability.
Lead data collection and analysis of external assessment results and monitor schools’ priority actions for improving attainment and progress.
Data Recording and Analysis:
Establish and maintain robust systems for data recording and analysis related to student performance, attendance, and other key metrics. Use data insights to drive targeted improvements in teaching and learning across the network.
Professional Development:
Collaborate with the Director of Learning and School Principals to ensure that Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes are relevant and effective.
Business Development Responsibilities:Positioning ISP national curriculum schools as Leaders:
Enhance the profile of ISP national curriculum schools as centres of excellence
Ensure that marketing initiatives effectively communicate the value proposition of the schools and meet target audience expectations.
Statutory Compliance:
Support ISP national curriculum schools in meeting statutory compliance requirements and renewals of permissions, working closely with regional legal team as necessary.
Educational Qualifications:
You have a postgraduate degree in a subject of choicealong with a formal qualification (degree/diploma/certificate) in Education or Educational Leadership.
You may also have additional qualifications or certifications in national curriculum frameworks (CBSE/ICSE) or educational administration.
Experience and Skills:
You have 10-15 years of school sector experience with at least five years in senior or middle leadership role within CBSE/ICSE schools and a strong track record in school improvement and academic leadership.
You have proven experience in leading curriculum planning and delivery, implementing teachers’ professional development and driving learning improvement within the national curriculum framework.
You possess strong strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, and have driven collaboration across multiple schools or departments.
You are proficient in using data management tools and software for educational purposes, strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights for school improvement.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You are digitally savvy and familiar with different edtech tools.
You are a team player, with a proactive work ethic, and a problem-solving approach.
