We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to lead our dynamic Corporate IT Security Team. In this role, you will manage, operate, and deploy critical security tools across our global infrastructure. The ideal candidate will focus on implementing and optimizing security solutions, particularly zero trust architecture, to ensure the ongoing security and resilience of our organization.


As a Technical Manager, you will lead a diverse, globally distributed team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and help shape our overall security strategy. This position requires strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in modern security tools, and hands-on experience with technologies such as Qualys VMDR/EPP-EDR, Okta Zero Trust, CyberArk EPM, Cisco Umbrella, Proofpoint Email Protection, Microsoft Intune/O365, Bitwarden Password Manager, and Cyera DSPM.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:


  • Lead and mentor a team of IT Security Analysts and Architects, guiding them in managing, operating, and optimizing security tools.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure high availability and performance of essential security solutions.
  • Foster team development by promoting professional growth and conducting performance reviews.

Security Tool Management:


  • Manage and oversee the operation of security tools, including but not limited to:
    • Qualys VMDR: Oversee vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and patch management, ensuring timely detection and remediation of security threats.
    • Qualys EPP/EDR: Manage endpoint protection and detection, ensuring real-time threat detection and automated response.
    • Okta Zero Trust: Implement and manage zero trust architecture, ensuring secure access and identity management across the organization.
    • CyberArk EPM: Manage privileged access, ensuring secure and compliant use of elevated permissions.
    • Cisco Umbrella: Oversee DNS-layer security, ensuring protection against internet-based threats.
    • Proofpoint Email Protection: Manage email security, ensuring protection against phishing, malware, and other email-borne threats.
    • Microsoft Intune/O365: Oversee device and application management, ensuring secure and compliant use of Microsoft services.
    • Bitwarden Password Manager: Manage password security, ensuring secure storage and access to credentials.
    • Cyera DSPM: Oversee data security posture management, ensuring data protection and compliance across cloud environments.
  • Ensure smooth integration of these security tools with our existing IT infrastructure and cloud platforms.
  • Maintain compliance with internal security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

Security Strategy & Collaboration:


  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure security tools and strategies align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT Service Desk, System, Networking, Sec-Ops, GRC, App Sec, software engineering) to assess security needs and ensure the organization's security posture remains robust.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and new security technologies, recommending new tools and solutions as needed.

Project Management:


  • Lead and oversee multiple security tool deployment and optimization projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful adoption across the organization.
  • Create project roadmaps, coordinate resources, and ensure that security objectives are met at every stage of the process.

Compliance and Governance:


  • Ensure adherence to relevant security standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and IRAP.
  • Support internal and external security audits and assessments.
  • Design and deliver security awareness training and educational programs.
Qualifications

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Experience:


  • Over 8-10 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on managing security tools and operations.
  • At least 3-5 years of management experience, leading technical teams, preferably in a global or multi-site environment.
  • Hands-on experience with key security tools such as Qualys VMDR/EPP-EDR, Okta, CyberArk, Proofpoint, and Microsoft.
  • Proven experience in vulnerability management and remediation processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and practical implementation experience.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Knowledge of network security, identity governance, and cloud infrastructure (Intune, Office 365).

Certifications (preferred but not required):


  • CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar certifications in security management.
  • Vendor certifications for Qualys, Okta, CyberArk, Proofpoint, and Microsoft.
