Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Intake: Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR technical team including enhancement request intake and troubleshooting issues via ServiceNow. This role will take full ownership of ServiceNow HR Tech operations reporting and dashboards, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and provide actionable insights for HR Tech decision-making.
  • Workflow Management: Provide support for HR system-related inquiries, issue resolution, and transactional activities, resolving at first instance or allocating appropriate HR Tech resources to load balance against ongoing work and incoming portfolio requests. Identify dependencies between different workstreams to resolve or remediate issues and correctly route escalations.
  • Projects & Initiatives: Scope and prioritize incoming technology fixes and enhancements and gather requirements and leverage technical expertise to plan and document stakeholder requirements including use cases and current/future state process flows with system touchpoints. Work directly with functional and technical project teams to assess Workday business needs and translate those needs for handoff to system configuration SMEs. Participate on project teams to represent HR data workstream.
  • Status and Progress Reporting:  Track key delivery metrics to provide reporting on current state, project status, resource utilization. System adoption, and roadmap progress. Research and analyze data to recognize trends, uncover data discrepancies, and identify potential opportunities.
  • Data Quality Accountability: Conduct regular audits on key HR data points while continuously seeking opportunities for new audits that improve data integrity and meet the changing needs of the organization.
  • Master Data Management: Responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing Workday HR master data framework, governance, integrity, audit. Drive the quality of Master HR Data and collaborate to implement rules and enforcements. Create processes and promote best practices to maintain and streamline data processes and increase efficiencies according to standards.
  • Audit: Research/report on any data discrepancies. Design and generate data tracking and monitoring tools, and develop reports with accurate, easy to read, useful information. Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual data audits are conducted timely and support SOX and Internal/External audit cycles. Conduct weekly audits on key HR data points while continuously seeking opportunities for new audits that improve data integrity and meet the changing needs of the organization.
  • Success Plans Management: Manage Labcorp’s Workday Success Plans program to coordinate, engage, and deliver benefits to ensure maximum return on investment. Proactively stay up to date on trends and developments within HR systems and technology, providing recommendations to improve system operation and user experience.
  • Release Management: Coordinate and participate in system upgrades and system testing to ensure functionality and security are working as expected/designed. Create detailed test plans, define various scenarios and execute test plans. Coordinate user acceptance testing and other testing with appropriate groups.

MIN EDUCTION & EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Business Administration, HR or related field or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years supporting Workday suite and systems modules (benefits, compensation, recruiting, performance management, help desk/service center, etc.) with deep knowledge of Workday HCM.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:


  • Workday PRO certifications a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading teams executing data operations and comfortable discussing data-related issues with senior leadership.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and highly experienced in researching, designing and implementing solutions and maintaining/upgrading systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how various ERP HR modules interact and affect one another.
  • Ability to manage relationships with global leaders and functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills to make sound decisions/recommendations based on analysis and user needs to ensure maximum productivity and continuous process improvement. Ability to translate user requirements into system specifications.
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing a technical team.
  • Deep experience with Workday HCM foundational data, business process and position management, and ServiceNow for HR.
  • Experience with master data management, data quality, and governance programs.
  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA preferred) and agile methodologies,
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
