Position Description:
The Media Design Services Associate processes changes and updates to web-based, instructor-led, blended instruction, self-study, and virtual-session learning solutions within Lilly’s Learning & Development technology environment.
This position is responsible for executing changes to learning content as received from the Lilly business area L&D leads and subject matter experts (the internal “clients”).
This role is responsible for:
- Developing simple to intermediate learning content.
- Applying branding and design standards to meet client expectations.
- Revising or redeveloping existing learning materials and learning solutions in response to feedback from the client.
- Revising or redeveloping existing learning materials and learning solutions for accessibility needs.
- Quality assurance for courses (such as in Storyline/Rise, and other technologies).
- Obtaining, creating, and editing images, graphics, videos, etc.
- Delivering work on time and within budget.
- uploading content to appropriate content infrastructure sites, L&D content repositories, and Learning Management Systems as needed.
- Exporting files to align with Lilly’s LMS standards.
- Partnering with the Instructional Design Associate to make needed changes to learning materials.
- Maintaining quality standards with a minimal number of defects in published output content.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Complying with all policies and standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years’ experience as a learning professional in a professional or technical area
- Experience with content authoring tools including Articulate, Captivate, Microsoft Stream, Microsoft Power Point, Adobe products, Vyond, WalkMe.
- Performs technical activities.
- Contributes to and manages projects assigned.
- Uses deductive reasoning to solve problems and make recommendations.
- Leverages previous knowledge and expertise to achieve results
- Ability to complete work self-guided.
- Experience with L&D/standard operating procedure-based business processes
- Experience creating or updating learning content to meet needs of populations with special accessibility requirements.
- Demonstrated ability in communication, conflict resolution, judgment and managing ambiguity for effective results in complex, resource-constrained situations.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain appropriate attention to detail.
- Experience with content authoring tools including Articulate, Captivate, Microsoft Stream, Microsoft Power Point, Adobe products, Vyond, WalkMe
- Experience with Microsoft tools, including SharePoint, Teams and Forms
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Ability to navigate complex, matrix-based organizations
- Knowledge of companion systems used to execute common business and L&D processes (such as SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, Veeva Quality Docs)
- Flexibility and creativity
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)
Language Requirements:
- Written and verbal proficiency in English
