Senior Manager - Global Expense Administration
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will supervise the tactical operations for the global expense audit team and corporate card administration team. You will ensure operational efficiency and exceptional service delivery to internal customers. One needs to be a result-oriented leader who is focused on service delivery excellence, customer support and continuous improvement. Also, responsible for leading a team with varied strengths, driving process improvements, and helping service teams stay focused on Amgen’s mission.
Service Operations and Process Excellence:
Oversee operations of two tactical support teams consisting of corporate card administrators and global expense audit coordinators
Lead execution of expense audits (and related reporting) to ensure adherence to internal expense policies and external regulatory requirements.
Leverage data and analytics to drive operational efficiencies, enhance service delivery, and reduce costs.
Evaluate and integrate innovative technologies to automate workflows and improve accuracy and efficiency.
Implement processes, and best practices for the expense audit and corporate card support teams.
Communicate regularly with internal customers to address concerns, share updates, and promote transparency
Leadership and Team Development:
Handle and develop a diverse team of customer service, expense auditing, and credit card support professionals.
Establish clear performance metrics and goals, providing ongoing feedback and coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
Support Amgen’s collaborative and inclusive culture, encouraging employee engagement and a customer-focused mindset.
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of directly related experience OR
Master’s degree and 8 to 10 years of directly related experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 10 to 14 years of directly related experience OR
Diploma and 14 to 18 years of directly related experience
Strong knowledge of corporate Global Expense management processes and tools (e.g., Concur, Oversight).
Proven experience handling customer service teams, expense auditors, and corporate credit card coordinators.
Experience working within financial compliance and policy enforcement environments, including auditing and regulatory standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Power BI, Tableau, Cognos Reporting
Understanding of AI-driven tools and automation for customer service and expense auditing
Knowledge of financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday)
Prior experience in a Fortune 100 or large multinational organization
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and influence key partners across all levels.
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities to develop a collaborative and successful team environment.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure or ambiguous situations.
