Overview MAIN PURPOSE This role would be responsible to provide planning & analytical support for SPL function Facilitate development of long term(strategic) plan & AOP Business performance monitoring & action planning for SPL Effectively forecast, alert, intervene & align stakeholders for delivery of key SPL Business KPIs Anchor & develop business forecasts Anchor Productivity projects. Effective tracking & reporting Support AOP Governance and acts as nodal point for Region/Sector/Corporate Submissions and query resolution Drive performance Reviews with SPL Business team Responsibilities ACCOUNTABILITY: Planning and Forecasting - AOP/SBP Contribute to the development of a robust SPL Operations SBP and AOP through engagement with Operations leadership Planning and Forecasting - Quarterly/Monthly Contribute to the development of effective BOY forecasts/latest estimates(updates) for all SPL Operations Contribute to Monthly Forecast preparation Participate in Capex planning & ensure tracking at regular intervals Management Reporting - Monthly Performance Management Reviews Ensure Unit wise performance review of Actuals vs. AOP (MTD/YTD) Lead a detailed and action-oriented Month Financial Review (MFR) for SPL Operations Vertical with Ops leadership Team and India Region Excom Region/Sector/Corporate Query Resolution Management Reporting - Operating Reviews Drive performance Reviews with SPL Business Team Operations/Backend Support Ensure Close co-ordination with SPL on any long term/short term SPL initiative viz, direct dispatches, warehouse consolidation, network optimization, etc. Support business team with financial analytics on drafting any capex and productivity proposal Business Partnering and Support - Productivity Council Support Pipeline Creation for SPL Productivity and projects delivery through appropriate visibility, tracking & reporting Identify working capital improvement opportunities in Foods SPL Operations and support Execution of initiatives Report to the Global Team with trackers Qualifications Experience and Qualification Master’s degree in Finance from ICAI/ premiere B School. Experience of minimum of 5-7 years in FMCG Sector Skills and Behavioral Attributes Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and persuasion skills Creates effective and sustainable long-term strategies Demonstrates a broad perspective when solving problems and making decisions Looks ahead to reasonably anticipate business opportunities and obstacles Supports reasonable risk taking and allows for some failures along the way Financial Process Management - This role should assist the manager in managing internal processes to optimize revenue, cost, cash flow and customer service Financial Planning & Forecasting - The role should be capable of supporting the annual operating plan, operating forecast and capital appropriation requests; provide business analysis to management KEY interactions Internal: SPL teams located both in BU as well as field Supply Chain Head
