How you’ll spend your day
- Collaborate with HR Business partners and business leaders across sites to address employee relation related issues
- Guide leaders on implementation of Performance Improvement plan policy, other statutory compliances and policies including POSH.
- Drive consistency around the ER policies across all sites and legal entities in India
- Work closely with Head of HR, Legal and Compliance teams on critical employee related case investigations
- Engage with the external labour legal consultants wherever required for taking specific legal advise and in turn advise Management.
- Work closely with the Statutory Compliance vendor across sites, aim for 100% statutory compliance across all sites in India
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, legal regulations, support in conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions as necessary
- Assist in performance management processes, coaching managers on Employee Relations related issues
- Develop and implement training on ER related topics.
- Maintaining ER/ Performance case records, investigation reports and outcomes, preparation of analysis for management reviews
- Ensure adherence to POSH policy compliance across India sites, including POSH ICC governance and training for ICC and employees
- Keep abreast of relevant laws, regulations and industry trends on employee relations
- Represent the organization in labour legal case management as necessary
Your experience and qualifications
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in conflict resolution and mediation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Masters’ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certification in Employee Relations or Human Resources Management preferable
