The airline business is undergoing a complete retail transformation to meet customer expectations in areas such as workflow efficiency and collaboration, price transparency, personalization, etc. introducing Nevio, our new solution for airline IT! Within Airline Solutions , Offer is really at the heart of this transformation: we are building the new Offer Management System with a platform-oriented approach, creating from scratch several new components with a state-of-the-art microservice/event driven approach!
The department
The coremission of newly created Offer Cockpit and Dashboard department is to empower airlines to design, execute (configure) and optimize their business processes thanks to unified Offer UIs within Nevio Cockpit. The group will support the industry journey towards modern retailing leveraging on Nevio UX guiding principles as well as on B2B UIs business architecture.
The creation of the department is happening in following context:
Offer UI engineering team did more than double in 2024 reaching 55 people and still a 30% growth is expected by 2026
Nevio cockpit is now and is requiring deep transformations in the way we build B2B UIs
Many of the Offer UIs will have to evolve to be integrated as Nevio modules
B2B UIs for Offer Nevio portfolio are starting from 2025 (Product Catalogue, Stock Keeper, Offer Management System)
Need to elaborate the end state vision for Offer UIs and the transition strategy along with the Offer Transformation & Transversal PM team
Strong need to empower people on the transformation objectives and new tech stack to foster the delivery in most of the trains within Offer
Ensure improved usability, unified user experience cross products & customer satisfaction
In term of products, the scope covered by the department encompass the entire Offer& NDC BD UIs:
Air Dynamic Pricing
Revenue Management System for airlines (RMS)
Revenue Management System & Dynamic Pricing for car rental industry (starting 2025 - service)
Product Catalogue(starting 2025)
Stock Keeper (from 2026)
Ancillary Dynamic Pricing (from 2026)
OFMS Configuration UI (from 2026)
NDC config UI & Seller UI (Nevio scope)
Being the leader of Offer Cockpit and Dashboard, the senior manager will be the ambassador for the Offer transformation towards Nevio Cockpit modules strategy involving harmonized user experience and UIs, workflow-based experience across modules, enablement of insights with data, self serviceability, modularity and consistent technology. He will have to closely follow metric such as Usability Score, User adoption of the features, efficiency gain and customer satisfaction as a success of the transformation.
The senior manager will need to work hands in hands with the Offer Transformation & Transversal PM team and the newly appointed Offer UI & Workflows PM expert. Constant interaction with UX Center Of Excellence is as well expected to ensure UX Nevio strategy is properly understood and become a reality.
Common accountabilities
Manage large teams or other Managers; has accountability for the performance and results of multiple related units.
Develop departmental plans, coordinates allocation of resources and controls policy formation in area of responsibility. Anticipates business issues and challenges for the department to define and resolve complex problems that may impact into the division / function.
Work following the overall department strategy, with limited supervision in a complex environment
Specific accountabilities
Define and share the technical/functional team roadmap and vision according to the department/division/company objectives
Report on team activities
Be accountable for the performance and results of a unit within own discipline or function
Develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Suggest alternatives / improvements / new techniques in processes, flows, operational models and plans
Moderate budgetary impact on business
Timely manage the investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries
Collaborate with other software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure that software systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance.
About the ideal candidate experience
More than 10 years working experience in IT
More than 5 years working in travel industry
More than 5 years in a management or senior management position
User Interface IT background would be highly appreciated
SAFe/agile experiencewould be a plus
Remote site management experience would be a plus
