Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Strategy & Operations
- Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Construct and implement a quick commerce strategy to enhance rapid delivery services and improve customer experience.
- Develop and execute strategies for entering new e-commerce markets and expand the company's online presence.
- Coordinate with various departments (marketing, logistics, inventory, etc.) to ensure alignment and timely execution of e-commerce initiatives.
- Lead business expansion in the omni-channel space
Product Management
- Oversee product listings, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales and profitability.
- Successfully lead listings on e-commerce platforms, ensuring optimal visibility and sales performance.
- Oversee the product catalog, ensuring accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability.
- Work closely with inventory and supply chain teams to manage stock levels and product availability online.
Online Marketing & Sales
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like traffic, conversion rates, sales revenue, and customer engagement, and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Enhance the overall online customer journey by improving the website interface, navigation, and checkout processes.
- Implement customer retention strategies, such as loyalty programs and personalized offers.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze website performance and customer behavior using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc) and make data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
- Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance, tracking sales growth, customer behavior, traffic trends, and other relevant KPIs.
- Use insights to recommend and implement changes to improve performance and drive growth.
Technology & Platform Management
- Oversee the management and integration of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.), ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with web developers and IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve site functionality.
- Stay up to date with e-commerce trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company’s platform remains competitive.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to e-commerce.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the website aligns with brand strategy, visual guidelines, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, including payment processors, shipping providers, and marketing agencies.
- Lead Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with e-commerce players to drive mutual growth and success.
Key Requisites (Must Have):-
- An ideal candidate would be a qualified MBA, preferably from a premier B-School with 4- 8 years of proven experience in e-commerce.
- Proven expertise in e-commerce, with experience handling e-commerce and/or quick commerce players or working with e-commerce organizations while managing vendors.
- Must bring strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
