About the role:

• Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients.
• Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives.
• Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software.
• Train and communicate with clients on systems application.

Position: Development Manager – Technology

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Development Manager to lead our development teams to deliver high quality software solutions. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering value to our customers.

What you will be doing 

• Product development:

• Collaborate with product managers and stake holders in defining product roadmaps and development priorities.
• Drive the execution of development from design to delivery.
• Ensure the development team goals are aligned to overall product strategy and value stream OKRs

• Technical Excellence:

• Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Supports Tech Leads by providing technical guidance.
• Contribute to code quality, architecture, and design discussions.
• Implement devops practices for automated CI and CDs

• Team Leadership
  • Lead, Mentor and inspire the team to deliver the best.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for team and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Invest in training and skill development for the team.
  • Leads the hiring and career growth opportunities in the team.

• Process Improvement:
  • Continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies
  • Implementation of agile practices to enhance development efficiencies.
  • Recognize and reward contributions to process improvements.
  • Regularly review and analyze the feedback from stakeholders and customers for improvement.
  • Manage Business continuity situations.

• Communication
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, cross functional teams and team members to define clear process improvement goals.  
  • Encourage constructive dialogues and seek win -win solutions.

What you will need:

• Overall 12+ years with 2+ years of experience in similar roles with adept understanding of Software development life cycle
• Experience building applications using .Net, C#, ASP MVC, and HTML, CSS
• Experience in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)
• Experience in developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, including integration with internal and external systems.
• Experience running agile projects of varying size and complexity.
• An excellent communicator and motivator
• Strong in stakeholder management
• Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.S/M.Tech

Added advantage.

• Agile maturity Tools, Jira, Confluence
• Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS /Azure
• Experience with code repositories like SVN/GitHub
• Knowledge of banking or financial services industry.
