Job Description
We are seeking a Design Operations Senior Manager / Senior Manager - Design PMO to oversee and streamline the processes, systems, and workflows that support our design teams in creating innovative and functional workplace environments. In this role, you will work closely with designers, project managers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that design projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Optimization & Workflow Management:
- Develop, implement, and refine operational processes that enhance the efficiency of design teams.
- Identify / create & run Initiatives to maximize efficiency & productivity of the design team .
- Standardize workflows across multiple design teams to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in design processes and take corrective actions.
- Identify & streamline training programs for upskilling the teams.
2. Resource Management:
- Allocate design resources effectively based on project needs and team capacity.
- Manage design tools, software, and other resources to ensure teams have what they need for optimal performance.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new design team members as necessary.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the design leadership to understand Organisational goals and objectives - specially pertaining to Design cohort.
- Act as a liaison between design teams and other departments to maintain strong communication and alignment.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of project files, designs, and deliverables.
4, Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor design project performance, providing regular reports on status, timelines, and resource utilization.
