Job Description

As Senior Manager – Central Projects, the individual will work closely with the COO’s office. The individual will manage and coordinate critical tasks as requested by the COO. The individual will have access and visibility into the highest level of decision-making and strategic conversations at the PayU leadership team. The incumbent will work collaboratively across the Company to help address the questions and asks from the COO to drive and execute PayU’s strategic goals.
About the team:
The Central Projects Transformation Team is a new unit that is being set up by PayU to drive key projects/products which are high-priority initiatives for the organization and involve extensive crossfunctional collaboration. This is a highly diversified and critical role. It includes initiating, defining, planning, and executing intermediate to large scale, cross-functional, and company-wide projects. As a part of central projects team, you will independently drive projects, influencing the roadmap priorities and implementation directions across teams. You will work with stakeholders across the organization and own the communication on all aspects of the program, including surfacing risks and reporting on the progress towards the project goals

What you’ll be doing?


  • Work closely with the COO in setting meeting agendas – follow through on those
  • Own tasks assigned to Central projects and work with cross functional teams to make sure it's delivered on time.
  • Working across teams to ensure that discussion documents meet the expectations and discussions are productive and useful
  • COO’s internal/external presentations if any
  • Attend key meetings with COO and follow through on next steps by working with different teams and ensure that they are accountable
  • Synthesize key business metrics and drive insights from the same to facilitate discussion at leadership meetings
  • Creating first principal inputs driven dashboards to measure underlying drivers of business performance
  • Monitor market trends and data and highlight and surface developments that would be of significance to the company

What are we looking For?


  • Total 5+ years, with at least 2+ years working as a project manager or program manager in Fintech, Bank or related industries.
  • Experience in Management Consulting/Fintech /BFSI/Technology Businesses
  • Strong analytical mindset & Proven ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to traverse both vertically and horizontally in a large organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of project management elements, life cycles, tools, and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
