We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager, CCO Governance


Principal Responsibilities: 


  • Manage the production and writing of materials into the key Operations forums.
  • Manage the collation of materials into key Operations forums, whilst being able to cast a critical eye on quality and accuracy of the submissions.
  • Be at the forefront of DBS CCO Operations governance, ensuring the right messages are provided to senior management and governance for a in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.
  • Support end-to-end risk and control management activities across DBS, working with wider teams in line with the Risk Management Framework.
  • Work with key stakeholders to assist with the management of strategic priorities and key performance indicators for DBS Operations.
  • Proactively identify collaboration opportunities and adopt new ways of working to achieve the highest efficiency, quality standards and productivity across DBS Operations.
  • Establish and maintain effective governance in DBS, ensuring the most material risks, issues, controls, and events are monitored reported and escalated as appropriate at relevant governance committees in line with the Risk Management Framework and guidance.
  • Play an active role in providing transparency of key risk and control items requiring DBS Exco or Global CCO attention for management. Ensuring complex information is conveyed in an articulate and logical manner that creates a clear narrative for senior leaders.
  • Lead the assimilation of materials to provide updates and briefings for the DBS Exco or Global CCO to deliver purposeful and systematic narratives to senior leaders to drive business outcomes and actions.

The role holder may provide input to DBS reporting and briefs to Executive and Board forums including:


  • Holdings Board
  • Group Audit Committee 
  • Group Risk Committee
  • Group Risk Management Meeting
  • Non-Financial Risk Management Board
  • DBS and DBS-1 Risk and Control Management Meeting
  • Chief Controls Office Exco
