  • MAJOR DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES
  • Operations Management:  Responsible for managing day-to-day operational support of delivered data assets.
  • Support the administration and operation of the applications in Supply chain, Cell Therapy and AI, including components of data ingestion, transformation, and reporting with the Enterprise Data Lake (EDL).
  • Requirements Gathering:  Develop a deep understanding of the GPS-Global Supply Chain and Cell Therapy data ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with different teams across GPS & GPS BIA organizations to assist in developing data requirements, data refinement business rules, acceptance criteria, testing approach, and change management plans for data management for analytic solutions
  • Database Management:  Develop a thorough understanding of the BIA and GPS data ecosystem
  • Governance Oversight:  Ensure adherence to applicable data governance policies and procedures for BIA data assets including management of data access policies
  • Data Analytics:  Work with data/analytic technologies such as MS Excel Macro, Tableau, Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), Athena, Domino, Python and AWS/Azure/MS Cloud Products, other ML and AI tools including Generative AI. Digital Experimentation:  Collaborate with IT peers to apply AI/ML/NLP to Rapid solutions and develop proof of concepts.
  • Vendor management and collaboration:  deliver and support custom-built data solutions and partner with software vendors and service providers.
  • Business Structure Analysis:  create architectural diagrams and understand infrastructure setups, manage deployments of varying complexities Other areas: Knowledge of SAP S/4, HANA Analytics, SQL, Web development, Relational DB systems

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL :


  • Successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 8+ years’ experience working in the pharmaceutical industry in an information technology-related field delivering and supporting analytic solutions
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in one or more data domains including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Pharma development, Cell Therapy, ERP, Inventory and Materials Management; or Distribution and Logistics
  • Demonstrated success in delivering and supporting custom-built solutions and managing/partnering with software vendors and service providers
  • Demonstrated experience creating architectural diagrams/understanding of infrastructure setups, managing deployments with varying complexities
  • Experience working internationally with a globally dispersed team including management of offshore technical development team(s)
  • Prior experience working with global life sciences data is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working in diverse, multi-disciplined work groups.
  • Experience and/or substantial understanding of process control principles and common system vendors’ available products.
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment, manage multiple priorities, and at times, be self-directed.
  • Excellent written and communication skill are required.
  • Candidate must have a flexible and creative work style with a goal of attaining excellence.
  • Certification in CPIM or CPSM or CSCP is a plus
