Build out semantic search capability on our platform. Translate natural language to analytic queries and learn from user behaviour to improve future responses. Design and implement AI solutions for predictive, generative, and agentic use cases
Build and optimize ML pipelines and workflows
Develop semantic search and natural language applications
Partner with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to align solutions
Provide clear technical designs and documentation
Mentor junior team members in AI/ML best practices
Drive software development with a focus on business objectives
Shape business decisions using ML expertise

Evaluate and integrate emerging AI/ML technologies
Apply best practices in CI/CD, automation, and security
Implement tools for monitoring, reproducibility, and versioning
Ensure adherence to development standards and processes
Produce accurate estimates, specs, and unit test plans
Conduct peer reviews for high-quality deliverables
Contribute to Qlik's AI vision and long-term strategy
Anticipate future customer needs with innovative AI solutions
Provide thought leadership in AI/ML practices within the organization
We’re looking for a teammate with:
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning,DataScienceor a related field.
A minimum of7years in similar rolesbuilding production-quality AI/ML software
Strong programmingproficiency in languages such asPython, Golang,Java, C++, preferably Python
Proficiency with Git and related tools for collaborative development
3+ years of experience withstructured data usingpopular machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow,PyTorch, scikit-learn, Langchain, Langgraph etc).
Experience with basic NLP pipelines for data processing and cleaning (e.g. NLTK, spaCy)
3 + years of experience with popular foundational models like Llama, Falcon,OpenAI, Hugging Face, Mistral, etc.
3+ years of experiencewith cloud service providers and relatedinfrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Expertise in working with unstructured data sources: RAG, vector databases
Tools for monitoring, reproducibility and versioning (MLFlow, Weights and Biases)
Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of emerging trends and new techniques in the field of AI
Experience building natural language applications or systems
