Job Description

This role would require expert US Tax knowledge, MIS and presentations skills, should be able to train teams, be abreast reading financial statements and current tax laws, handle raw data and be a mentor for juniors.About The Role:
  • US Tax expert with good presentation & MIS skills for management and clients.
  • Conduct Tax knowledge sessions, review and finalize best practices and gather and analyze data for business productivity improvements. To suggest ideas for the development of error reporting mechanism. 
  • To attend all required meetings and provide required information and suggestions. 
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organization. 
  • Communicate customer issues/expectations/requirements with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints. 
  • Experience to go through financial statements and determine book to tax adjustments. 
  • Ability to review documentation and research tax return issues. 
  • Must be updated of current tax law and tax software changes. 
  • Strong preparation/ Review skill for US Tax returns. 
  • Ability to work with raw data to complete calculations, work papers and tax returns. 
  • Coach and stimulate more junior profiles in view of the right achievement and personal development.
About You:
  • Expert knowledge of US tax and Tax software 
  • Expertise in Project/ Assignment handling 
  • Sound knowledge of Power point presentation 
  • Should be able handle and lead foreign assignments.
  • Training Program In charge experience of 5 years.
  • Planning, preparing and reviewing complex International US tax Forms. for example - 5471, 5472, 8621,8865, 8858s etc. 
  • Proactive and Willingness to Learn
  • Ability to manage, train, and develop staff as per the requirements.
  • Ability to finalize the inhouse training materials as per requirement of Learning and development team.
  • Ability to perform under time pressures and meet deadlines.
  • This role would need 8+ years of expertise in US taxation.
