What you will be doing (Key Roles and Responsibilities):
- Prepare and execute functional test cases to ensure that quality is maintained throughout release cycle.
- Work with developers, Product Managers, and QA to develop software tests which verify and exercise product requirements.
- Create & maintain API Automation script using SOAP UI
- Create & maintain UI Automation script using Selenium and keyword driven automation tool.
- Participate in automation code reviews and test case reviews.
- Contribute to automation framework and enhancing automated test coverage.
- Requirement specifications reviews and testing estimation.
- Prepare and maintain test environments.
- Mentor QA team and take responsibility of product quality.
What you bring (Experience Level & Mandatory Skills in potential candidate):
- Extensive knowledge on test strategy and Test planning, good understanding, and experience with different testing methodology.
- Strong experience in functional manual testing (Writing and executing test cases)
- Good understanding and knowledge on programming concepts and OOPS preferably with C#/Java.
- Extensive knowledge & experience on selenium and its working.
- Experience and knowledge on API testing using SOAP UI, POSTMAN or relevant API testing tools
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience in web application testing
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
