Senior Java Developer - Manager

What you will be responsible for

• Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications and projects using Java, SQL, React, or other related software engineering languages
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and the application team leads to define technical solutions to meet business requirements
• Provide application support, triage production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed to provide tactical and/or strategic technical solutions
• Write unit and automation test cases to ensure a high quality end product
• Participate in code reviews
• Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the kanban methodology including attending all daily standups, release planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Able to lead and handle L4 support for PROD.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+  years of experience in Oracle PL SQL, JAVA, JDBC and scalable software development.
• 3+ Years in BFSI domain
• Experienced in Spring, MyBatis, ReactJS, GIT, Artifactory, Quartz, Autosys
• Self-motivated , self-organized and curious about new technology and able to work within a large organization
• Ability to work well with peers in a global, collaborative team environment
• Ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector
• Experience with Exchange Traded Funds preferred
• Experience working with an Agile development methodology is desired
