In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you'll do:
Monitoring Content Development: Develop monitoring content usingOpsRampSDK frameworks to discover and monitor health of remote infrastructure (network/storage/compute systems....etc)
Responsible for understanding target device domain capabilities and look for potential metrics/attributes to capture mission critical parameters health
Responsible to involving development of apps using SDK framework
Responsible for requirements gathering and solution validation from end customers or customer facing teams
Responsible to mentor team to write apps with industry standard best practices.
Responsible to code reviews.
What you need to bring:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working with enterprise IT environments.
Knowledge on Rest/SOAP API/Webhook
Programming experience in Java, J2EE, multi-threading, REST, Data Caching Services
Scripting experience with automating processes and deployments using scripting tools and languages such as Shell, Bash, Python, Perl, etc.
Knowledge of database architecture and design
Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
Experience in GitLab /Github
Experience in IDEs like Eclipse or any other
Must be able to write reusable code for components/libraries.
Operating System knowledge such as Linux, Windows Platforms and other Unix flavors (AIX/HP/UX)
Research, architect, design and implement best in class monitoring solutions
Analyze use cases and requirements to design secure and scalable monitoring solutions
Self-motivated and proactive with strong curiosity and desire for self-development
Dynamic with a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude
Great attention to detail, and passionate about quality of deliverable
Knowledge on Storage/Compute/Network domains is a plus.
Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline
