Welcome to the Private Cloud Team
At DSV, we are advancing our new hybrid platform, integrating both public and private clouds. As part of the Hybrid Computing Platform (HCP) department in Global IT, you will join the Private Cloud team, consisting of product owners, site reliability engineers, and other specialists. Together, you will ensure the development, publication, and maintenance of infrastructure products.
“We’re in the early stages of setting the team, so you and your new colleagues will be instrumental in defining how we operate,” explains Product Manager Roberto Marini.
Your Role: Engineering Our Private Cloud.
As the team’s engineer, you will implement OpenStack cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. You will collaborate closely with your team and colleagues across the HCP department to deploy complex cloud environments and tackle a wide range of development tasks.
Key Responsibilities:


•    Designing, configuring, and implementing OpenStack cloud solutions.
•    Creating best practices and training materials.
•    Leading workshops and training sessions with internal customers and technical teams.
•    Providing technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
•    Conducting knowledge transfer sessions and trainings on OpenStack technologies.
•    Developing demos and proof-of-concepts.
•    Evaluating and selecting cloud service providers, tools, and technologies.
•    Enhancing and optimizing the efficiency and reliability of the OpenStack environment.
•    Integrating OpenStack infrastructure with other technologies and systems.
•    Identifying and resolving complex technical issues promptly.
What We Are Looking For:


We seek an organized, analytical individual with extensive experience in OpenStack. You should be a true team player who is also highly autonomous and comfortable working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:


•    A degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
•    Proven experience in a similar role as a cloud engineer or DevOps engineer.
•    Extensive experience with implementing and configuring OpenStack cloud solutions.
•    Knowledge of Azure, GCP, AWS.
•    Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Bash, and Groovy.
•    Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and ArgoCD, as well as containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
•    Familiarity with Agile methodology (e.g., SAFe, Scrum) and management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
•    Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
