Our Technical Enablement team is looking for an Instructional Designer to build the learning experience based on knowledge of persona-specific learning and business outcomes. They should create and deliver engaging technical enablement content and certification programs to drive learner productivity. We will look to the Senior Instructional Designer to maintain the highest creative, conceptual, and design standards - producing engaging work with detailed execution while constantly ensuring brand integrity and consistency. Highly diligent, the ideal candidate loves to work as a team, takes direction well, and is eager to bring strategic and creative solutions to every project.What you'll do.Translate strategic concepts into compelling content and visuals across various formats, ensuring multidimensional and impactful deliverables.Develop storyboards tailored to diverse personas and implement multi-modal training solutions like workshops, micro-learning, eLearning, and certifications to address global and regional technical enablement priorities.Collaborate closely with subject matter authorities to craft detailed storyboards that are aligned with learning outcomes for Partner, Customer, and Internal audiences.Work alongside the Productivity/Strategy team to understand the key drivers of productivity, enablement requirements, and opportunities for continuously improving onboarding training, technical training, and certifications.Design and build the instructional flow and structure of the content to meet both business requirements and in an easy-to-consume format for the learners.Record audio based on approved scripts and package MP4 training content to meet quality standards for self-paced eLearning courses, catering to on-demand consumption.Configure and test lab templates and guides for technical users, implementing necessary visual, screenshot, and editorial adjustments.Create and maintain hands-on labs and simulations for Support, Customers and Partner technical enablement training on Commvault solutions, services, and technology areas.Mentor a peer group of instructional designers, guiding them in crafting technical content with persona-friendly flow, tone, and visual elements to achieve desired learning outcomes.Chip in to the enhancement of content design templates and standard methodologies, aiming to elevate the quality and adoption of training materials.Document processes and actively participate in ongoing improvements to content creation and management.Deliver internal training sessions to the distributed team or partners as required.Apply metrics and partner feedback in content design, and relevance to improve the quality and effectiveness of technical enablement trainings. Who you are?Proficient in using MS Office applications, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, or similar software for content creation and video editing.Advanced PowerPoint and visual graphics, icons, and design template creation skills.Proven track record in designing training for different modalities (live classroom, virtual, training, eLearning)Expertise in applying instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories to develop effective training materials.Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain business partner relationships.Demonstrates sophisticated aesthetic, technical skill, and knowledge of current design trends, as well as the desire to innovate. Strong portfolio required.Advanced experience in audio and video recording, as well as the packaging of multimedia content.Superior in multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, often deadline-oriented, and multifaceted environment.Bachelor's degree in Education Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.Up to 5 to 8 years of experience in designing, delivering, and deploying multi-model soft skills or technical training programs in software or technology services environments.Total years of experience up to 10 years in the learning and development industry.
