Are you an expert in cybersecurity incident response looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Response Specialist to join our team as a Senior Manager. This role is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and responding to security incidents, as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of our security posture.
Our Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) is dedicated to protecting our organization from cyber threats, privacy issues, and fraud. As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in responding to security incidents, managing their lifecycle, and collaborating with key stakeholders to mitigate risks. This role is based in Gurugram (India).
Responsibilities
• Respond to security incidents, requests, and queries related to cyber threats, privacy issues, and fraud.
• Invoke Emergency Response Process and collaborate with senior responders for high-severity incidents.
• Manage the lifecycle of security incidents from triaging to root-cause analysis and corrective measures.
• Communicate efficiently with key stakeholders during high-severity incidents.
• Execute controls to mitigate risk exposure and provide feedback on security content.
• Contribute to the maturity of the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT)
Your Profile
As a person you come across as team-player who is professional, analytical, solution-oriented, positive and energetic.
Further we are looking for a candidate with the following professional competencies:
• 8-12 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a Security Incident Response role.
• Proven experience with SIEM-SOAR & EDR investigations. Experience with Chronicle & Microsoft Defender is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain keen attention to detail.
• Understanding of Microsoft Defender products and Azure (Good to have).
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CySA+ (Good to have).
