We are looking for a Sr. Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our Med tech team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on market research (including both primary and secondary research), competitive analysis, clinical trial analysis, financial analysis, forecasting, insight generations, produce comprehensive market research reports and conduct custom consulting projects for medical devices and healthcare markets.
The team consists of around 40 colleagues spread across teams in India and is reporting to the respective team managers. We have a great skill set in the market research and consulting domain related to medical devices & healthcare markets and we would love to speak with you if you have skills or interest for the same.
About You: Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments
- Graduate or master’s degree in pharmacy/life sciences/pharmaceutical sciences with 5+ years of relevant experience in primary market research, respondent recruitment, data collection, project management, etc.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in written and spoken English, while ensuring timely delivery of projects to our clients.
- Excellent attention to detail and research skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); experience with related workflow environments.
- A flexible and collaborative approach to work, with well-developed expertise in market research methodologies or related job experience in the medical device or healthcare domain.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines. Business acumen that supports sales success, ongoing improvements, and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team to produce high-quality deliverables that require little rework.
- Mature communicator capable of handling high-profile clients.
It would be great if you also had:
- Knowledge of designing/reviewing questionnaires will be an additional advantage.
- Knowledge of any non-English languages (e.g., French, German, Italian, Spanish).
- Well-developed therapy expertise in at least one area of the medical device market or related work experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including using pivot tables and advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP, effective data organization strategies, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL and data visualization (Power BI/Tableau).
What will you be doing in this role?
- Contribute to product operations efficiency and enhancements by focusing on process improvements and identifying operational inefficiencies to contribute to the organization’s goals. Provide overall project management of identifying and processing interview responders, and honoraria to respondents.
- Support both research and interviews conducted by Clarivate colleagues, as well as work with a number of external partners who identify and provide interviewees.
- Organize international (including the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain) top-quality telephone interviews for several projects simultaneously for an internal analyst who will conduct the interviews.
- Attend kick-off meetings for assigned projects. Maintain ongoing communications with team members as well as stakeholders on project progress and/or changes in scope.
- Ensure product launch readiness, including pricing, legal, and quality checks on new features. Set up and maintain processes to ensure smooth and effective product launches.
- Provide feedback on how new products are received by Sales and Customer Support teams. Analyse data to support decisions regarding product migrations and the retirement of outdated product features.
- Manage product data and perform updates to ensure operational accuracy and data integrity. Support important decision-making activities, such as quarterly reviews and annual planning.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to monitor and track product delivery timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Create templates and resources for the team. Ensure resources and budget planning are in place and track project spending.
- Manage risks and issues, coming up with solutions when problems arise. Report project progress to leadership teams as required.
About the Team
The Medtech team is group of data and subject matter experts and is mainly responsible to delivery data products, syndicated market research reports and conduct custom consulting projects, related to medical device markets. Medtech team harnesses real-world healthcare data, in-depth interviews, and our unique mix of in-house expertise to help medical device companies make some of their most important business decisions. The team is spread across 3 locations: Toronto, Canada; Bengaluru, India; and Barcelona, Spain.
Hours of Work
The work timing is 12 – 9PM. This helps the team to have some overlap with their counterparts working in other offices in Toronto and Barcelona.
