Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js/Angular.js)

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js/Angular.js) to join our US telecommunication client. 
The project involves maintaining the Genesys Orchestration Server (ORS), a session-based Genesys Routing component. ORS extends and integrates Genesys' core routing capabilities with other Genesys products. It executes SCXML-based routing strategies, including those created in Composer.

This role requires attending the Chennai office 2-3 times per week to collaborate with team members and participate in in-person meetings and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Bug fixing and resolving production issues: Analyzing and reproducing reported issues to pinpoint the root cause. Implementing code changes to resolve bugs and ensure functionality is restored.
• Security Updates and Patching: Staying up to date on security vulnerabilities in dependencies and frameworks.
• Applying security patches promptly to address potential exploits. · Ownership: Should understand the product architecture end to end and handle delivery of services independently.
• Performance and Cost Optimization: Should contribute to Performance and cost optimization ideas and implementing it.
• Implementing optimizations to improve speed, responsiveness, and resource usage.  Technical debt reduction: Refactoring code to improve maintainability and reduce future development challenges.
• Version control and release management: Ensuring smooth deployments of bug fixes and minor updates.
• Maintaining CI/CD pipelines: Making use of Jenkin Jobs available for CI/CD, understanding the deployment architecture and monitoring tools available, enhance / update the process wherever any improvement is required.
• Strengthening Unit testing: Add unit test cases for the issues identified there by strengthening the regression suite available.

• 5+ years of development experience as a Full-stack Engineer
• Proficient in Node.js, AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Proficient with Git for source control management.
• Experienced in creating Unit and integration tests with Jasmine.
• Strong debugging expertise.
• Willing to work with both legacy systems and open to learning new technologies
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Quick learner and able to work independently
