Your Career
As a Senior Front-end Developer in the Digital team, you will be responsible for:
Translating UI/UX design wireframes to actual user interfaces that will produce visual elements of the web pages.
Working with the UI/UX designers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Creating responsive marketing landing pages and microsites, for multi-language deployment
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Performance optimization, accessibility, and usability
Collaborating with back-end developers, web designers and QA team
Adherence to On-Page SEO principles
Implementing best practices in front-end architecture
Your Impact
Diagnose and solve technical problems related to web page layouts and rendering.
Ensure sound practices regarding front-end site architecture, performance, accessibility, and usability are in place.
Follow best practices for web programming, packaging and deployment.
Adhere to internal best practices with respect to coding standards, unit testing, automation, and continuous integration.
Collaborate with back-end developers for efficient integration with front-end components.
Your Experience
A degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar
8 to12 years of web front end development experience in an enterprise environment
Profound knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
Expert proficiency in UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
Ability to take visual UX designs (PSD files, figma and Zeplin designs) and convert them into semantic and standard compliant web properties
Build cross-browser and cross-device compatible pages according to W3C standards
Passion for responsive design and applying it consistently across all cross-platform devices
Capable of rapidly generating UI prototypes and constructively integrating feedback
Solid experience in using a complex REST API from the client-side
Significant experience of troubleshooting using JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
Strong bias for action and ability to operate independently
Strong communication and organization skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment
Relentless attention to detail
Nice to have:
Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager(AEM) CMS.
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform minor adjustments to an image.
Good understanding of On-Page SEO principles
Exposure to Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline, including Git, Jenkins, etc.
Experience in other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React etc
