Job Description
Title - Manager, Finance – US Scope of Position (Accountabilities) – • Manages staff of financial analysts in analyzing potential impact of current and proposed financial plans. • Responsible for the timely and competent analysis of cash flow, operating results, and business plans to determine rates of return, capital/cash flow requirements, etc. • Ensures the timely completion of forecasts and analyses on industry and general economic trends. • Presents results of financial analyses to senior management and makes recommendations for enhancing the company’s profitability. • Responsible for hiring, performance appraisals, talent development, and pay reviews. • Develops and maintains a partnership with business leaders. Complexity – • Analyzes proposed plans and policies, as well as new programs, to determine costs and projected profitability. • Performs special financial studies for management in conjunction with recommended or proposed plans. • Evaluates and analyzes current or proposed funding sources and recommends most economical source. • Manages the activities of financial analyses staff. • Makes presentations to VP's below the BU Leadership level, plans and programs which have been analyzed for cost effectiveness and profitability. • Maintains contacts with outside agencies and other third parties to obtain financial operating data used in formulating the company's financial policies and plans. • Negotiates moderately complex financial agreements. Education – CA, MBA or CFA desirable. Experience – 10 + years of experience with 2 year managerial experience. Demonstrated ability to consistently provide FANATICAL support. KSA - • Expert technical knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis techniques. • Expert knowledge about cash management and capitalization processes. • Expert knowledge of presenting results of financial analyses to senior management and making recommendations for enhancing the company’s profitability. • Excellent analytical, written communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to communicate financial information and ideas so others will understand. • Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions. • Ability to apply varying leadership skills and traits that create solutions and results to unexpected situations. • Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups. • Ability to provide FANATICAL support. SupervisionOperates under minimal supervision. May provide work direction to less experienced financial analysts.
