Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

The position is for a Functional Expert/Lead under Automation and Analytics team within the Global Strategy and Delivery Organization in Markets Controllership.

The Markets Controllership organization is responsible for oversight of the financials, reporting, accounting, audits, statutory and regulatory compliances including direct and indirect taxes for legal entities across the globe where HP has presence.

The strategy and Delivery organization supports the Market Controllers in several compliance activities and facilitation and program management of key strategic initiatives that spread across the entire MCO Organization.

The Automation and analytics team is part of the strategy organdthe team amongst many roles facilitates a key control of Balance Sheet Review across all markets and develops and maintains systemic solutions which enables a stronger control environmentand better reporting using the latest tools and technologies for all controllers to work within.

Broad role definition:

·Facilitate the BSR’s on a quarterly basis for the designated markets.

·Work with the inhouse data science team to build and create models that allow better analytics of financial statements.

·Continue to improve upon the existing codes and projects to changing technology environment.

·Manage multiple stakeholders through projects and BSR process.

·Identify opportunities for enhancing the automation and digitization journey within controllership.

·Collaborate with partner organizations to find opportunities of leverage

·Be a champion of change and digital adoption within markets controllership.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of experience with Non CA Background and 3-6 years of experience CA background
