About the role:
Independently lead daily controllership deliverables for Asia, Middle East, Africa (AMA) affiliates
Own various key SOX controls, ensuring compliance to documented controls
Manage multiple service providers specifically reviewing account reconciliations performed by BPO partner
Key relationships - liaising with stakeholders in finance and commercial ops teams in Asia, Middle East Africa regions
Knowledge of Revenue recognition and revenue reversal
Providing Variance Analysis on Financial statements to the regional controllership team
Acts as a key subject matter expert (SME) for GL Account Reconciliation
Collaborates with team and various business partners across region
Working on various SEC-required reports for controllership team review
Basic Knowledge of AR & AP along with Banking activities
Review of Inter-company Reconciliation, balance confirmation & ICP
Minimum of three years experience with closing and reporting in SAP ERP.
Strong working knowledge of Lease, Inventory and Sales Accounting.
Facilitate and explain LS&Co. financial accounting processes to BPO partner.
About you:
Education qualification:
B. Com/M.com CA/CPA/CMA qualified.
Experience:
4 to 6 years post qualification experience in Accounts and Finance.
Captive industry experiences serving global client/MNC preferred.
Good grasp and experience of US GAAP standards, reporting, SOX controls.
Skills in Microsoft Office and SAP (Mandatory)
Excellent communication skills – written, spoken and reading
