Duties and Responsibilities:


Operations Management:


  • Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the site, including facility maintenance, security, and tenant services.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and best practices to optimize site efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Regularly inspect the site to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement.

Client and Stakeholder Management:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries, concerns, and requests, responding promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and ensure those needs are met or exceeded.

Team Leadership:


  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage a team of on-site personnel, including custodial staff, security personnel, and maintenance technicians.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Budgeting and Financial Management:


  • Develop and manage the site budget, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and targets.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and optimize resources.
  • Review and approve invoices and expenses related to site operations.

Compliance and Safety:


  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, coordinating with appropriate authorities as necessary.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and manage corrective actions to maintain a safe and secure site environment.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of facility management principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
