Job Description

About the Role:


  • The Executive/Sr. Executive – Credit Control is responsible for promoting prompt payment, reducing outstanding amounts to a minimum, ensuring all the invoices are submitted to the customers as per the timeline and identifying changes in payment patterns and proposing action to avert indebtedness.
  • The incumbent will report to the Sr. Manager - Credit Control. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the setting up of the credit control system PAN India
  • Coordinate with Regional Heads regarding the outstanding collections
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
  • Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
  • Design a probing mechanism to reach the root cause of outstanding and come up with a constructive plan
  • Ensure that debts are paid promptly
  • Handle disputed bills and help RMs negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
  • Send out monthly statements/reports to management to make decisions
  • Coordinate with Sr Credit Controllers and Sales Team for customer PO

  • Liaise closely with BM/ABM to solve problems relating to payment issues
