The Executive/Sr. Executive – Credit Control is responsible for promoting prompt payment, reducing outstanding amounts to a minimum, ensuring all the invoices are submitted to the customers as per the timeline and identifying changes in payment patterns and proposing action to avert indebtedness.
The incumbent will report to the Sr. Manager - Credit Control. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the setting up of the credit control system PAN India
Coordinate with Regional Heads regarding the outstanding collections
Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
Design a probing mechanism to reach the root cause of outstanding and come up with a constructive plan
Ensure that debts are paid promptly
Handle disputed bills and help RMs negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
Send out monthly statements/reports to management to make decisions
Coordinate with Sr Credit Controllers and Sales Team for customer PO
Key Result Areas:
Liaise closely with BM/ABM to solve problems relating to payment issues
