Description and Requirements

To help enforce our core values of integrity and trust, Lenovo is seeking a dynamic Staff Project Manager, Ethics and Compliance, to play a key role in Lenovo's global ethics and compliance program. The position will report to the Senior Manager, Ethics & Compliance.
This role will support the success of the global ethics and compliance program and have responsibility for the following actions:
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to integrity and alignment with Lenovo’s company values and Code of Conduct
- Maintains daily operations of the third-party anti-bribery and corruption program, including conducting third-party anti-bribery and corruption due diligence reviews, identifying potential red flags, and escalating for heightened review as appropriate
- Serves as subject matter expert for the third-party due diligence system, acts as a liaison to the system provider, and stays knowledgeable of updates and new features
- Works to grow knowledge of system technical requirements to assist future integration and digital transformation efforts
- Maintains subject matter expertise on anti-bribery and corruption laws, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the U.K. Bribery Act, and other applicable rules, regulations and trends in the industry and corporate geographies
- Works with business stakeholders to ensure issues are properly analyzed, evaluated, and optimally solved according to internal policies, applicable law, and regulatory guidance
- Establishes and maintains excellent cross-functional relationships with internal business stakeholders at all levels
- Conducts reviews of gifts and entertainment related requests from the business
- Develops, collects, and analyzes key program metrics to test and ensure effective corporate-wide program implementation
- Maintains, enhances, and develops anti-bribery and corruption program policies, procedures, and processes
- Evaluates program components, recognizes and contributes to continuous improvement opportunities
- Carries out special projects as assigned to support Lenovo’s Global Ethics and Compliance Program
- Supports Ethics and Compliance training and communications initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 5 years’ experience in an audit, legal, compliance, risk and control position at a multinational company, law firm, or professional service firm.
- At least 3 years of experience with U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and equivalent international anti-corruption laws and regulations.
- At least 1 year of experience with screening for international sanctions, PEP connections and an understanding of the relevant AML laws and regulations.
- Technical skills related to systems enhancements and control design is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, writing, and legal research and interpretation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous record-keeping practices and ability to organize large volumes of information.
- Ability to self-start and self-direct in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
