Built on Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (Real-Time CDP) helps companies bring together known and anonymous data from multiple enterprise sources in order to create customer profiles that can be used to provide personalized customer experiences across all channels and devices in real time. You will lead an exceptionally dedicated and collaborative team, address large scale data management and complex problems, design & implement innovative algorithms, and build highly performant services.What you'll doMentor and guide high performing engineering team. Be an inspiring leader in building innovative tech in Adobe Experience Platform. Deliver high-performance and scalable systems that are adaptable to sophisticated business needs, influence ideation & outstanding problem solving. Partner with global product management and engineering and operations leaders to help shape technical product architecture & practices, roadmap and release plans. Drive strategic and tactical decisions which ensures the successful delivery of projects. Lead the technical design, vision, and implementation strategy. Create execution plan and lead the engineering team to complete the vision. Apply best-practices and coding patterns that ensure solutions are maintainable, modular, and of high code quality. Develop and evolve engineering processes and collaboration models, applying creative problem solving to optimize team efficiency. Attract, hire, on-board and retain top talent. Empower and develop the team as a player-coach to be a high-performance team. Craft a positive winning culture built on teamwork and shared accomplishments. Lead the discussions on emerging industry technologies & trends and work with the team & leadership use this knowledge to influence product direction.What you need to succeedPassion and love of what you do!
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 4 years of experience in management role.
  • Strong technical skills with experience in designing & developing enterprise applications
  • Strong solid understanding of software development methodologies and software design patterns and have experience leading significant software projects/products
  • Proven experience running or leading sophisticated projects through full product delivery cycles
  • Proven record developing, leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers and engineering managers towards delivering timely, high-quality software as a team.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Consistent track record in recruiting and building robust teams
  • Expertise in design/development in distributed computing and related technologies
  • Strong Java/Scala, design, coding and architectural skills along with problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Good knowledge of Kafka, MySQL/Postgres, Solr, Elastic Search, Snowflake
  • Experience in developing and leading teams building solution with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Self-motivated with a desire to mentor a team and the ability to drive the team to accomplish high-quality work
  • Excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, encourage, and empower others
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
