Senior Engineer- SDET/Test (with Python)

The Opportunity

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Engineer- SDET/Test at Bangalore, Hyderabad locations. The ideal candidate for Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of Office 365 backup agents and services. This role involves developing automated test frameworks, identifying bugs, and implementing testing processes that maximize quality in our Office 365 environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software testing, a deep understanding of automation frameworks, and hands-on experience working with Office 365 applications and Backup software.

What you’ll do…

• As an SDET you will maintain and write automation cases for office 365 applications.
• Create strategies to detect, address the issues.
• Use/Design systems to troubleshoot automatically.
• You Automatically handle failures/prepare for DR.
• Keep the automation setup up and reliable/Mitigate broken systems and prevent them from causing future disruptions. 
• Global collaboration: Our talent pool spans across India (Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune) and the US (NJ, CA), fostering a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives.
• Ownership, not just tasks: We don't just assign duties; we empower individuals to take ownership, be accountable, and drive impactful.
• You will ensure our Software Quality with regular execution of automation cases and identifying areas for automation.

Who you are…

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years hands on experience expertise in automation (Python).
• Good understanding of any office 365 applications/Backup software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from different teams may it be development, Support, CSM to understand requirements and come up with quicker resolution.
• Azure /OS/ Network Knowledge and SaaS experience desirable.
• Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
