Work Flexibility: Hybrid
To contribute in the role of an Advanced Operations (Senior Engineer) for DRE (Digital , Robotics and Enabling Technologies) in manufacturing process engineering domain to develop New Products.
Expectations of the role:
- Work closely with manufacturing locations in development & review of manufacturing process for new products / line extensions.
- Prepare Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (pFMEA) & Control Plans for new products / line extensions.
- Prepare inspection plans and guide sheets.
- Prepare, document, and facilitate qualification/validation of equipment, inspection methods, and manufacturing/assembly processes.
- Prepare/develop manufacturing assembly procedures and digital work instructions for complex electromechanical assemblies and tests
- Provide estimates of effort in an agile sprint-based project management setting on upcoming workload and identify cross-functional dependencies and blockers.
Skills Sets:
- Candidate should have Project Management experience in managing manufacturing process development for New Product.
- Proficient in preparing Process Flow Maps, Work Instructions/Standard Operating Procedures, pFMEA, and Process Control Plans
- Good knowledge of manufacturing process (preferable experience: assembly, torque applications, ESD-control, MES systems, Poka-Yoke techniques, test development for finished assemblies)
- Good knowledge of inspection methods of machined product
- Proficient in interpretation of drawing with GD&T
- Good Knowledge of Statistical Process Control techniques & Measurement System Analysis
- Knowledge of IQ, OQ, and PQ for equipment and processes in a medical device regulated industry
- Technical Writing
Preferred Skill Sets:
- Working knowledge of Valgenesis digital validation software
- Working knowledge of OnePLM for document change management
Experience:
- 5~7 years in an engineering role.
Education:
- B.E / B.Tech. - Mechanical Engineer
Travel Percentage: 20%
