New Development of Tools for Plastic parts, Dies, Jig & fixture related with parts manufacturing which include both tools for new product and replacement
Prepare and set up whole Tooling development cycle i.e. Provide concept , Costing for Tool Manufacturing , Preparing tool specification, Vendor selection , FMEA , Tool Manufacturing , Tool Approval and Hand over, etc.
Make sure that new tools are in line with corporate tooling guideline
Assist New product development team in product design in terms of ease of manufacturing through tools.
Guides tooling engineers for proper preventive maintenance and major repairing of molds
Takes overall responsibility of Mold management system
Responsible for driving VAVE process in plant and for vendors
Suggest & Co-ordinate with production, supply chain & quality departments for Improvement, Preventive maintenance & upgradation of molds.
Experience in Project management
Good relational and communication skills.
