Responsibilities / Tasks
Responsible to carry out Inspection for Various fabricated equipment (Specially Stainless-Steel sheet metal for dairy / pharma industries) / bought outs at Various supplier place
Responsible to carry out Inspection for project site for site installation activity
Development of Third-party manufacturing workshops
Primary Evalution of various suppliers
Drive & implement various improvement initiative at third party manufacturing workshops
Creation of Quality Assurance plan / procedure & implementation of the same.
Coordination with various Third party inspection agency.
Proactively indentify the issues and take up with engineering / project team to resolve the same.
Fabricated Equipment: -
The candidate must possess knowledge and working experience on:
Stainless steel Fabrication. Especially sheet metal fabrication (i.e. thickness ranging from 2 - 5 mm.): Inspection at Third party workshop. (Approved Drg. , QAP & Order spec.)
Mill finish of stainless-steel sheets and plates. Welding processes, including GTAW - Argon welding. Weld joint finishing methods. (Grinding, polishing, passivation, etc.) NDT tests like LPT, RT & UT (ASNT Level II) Understanding of industry specific standards like hygienic construction, finish etc.
CS / MS Fabrication : Inspection at Third party work shop. (App. Drawing, QAP & Order spec.)
Welding processes. Inspection of weld joints. NDT tests like LPT, RT & UT (ASNT Level II) Codes and standards for Pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
Weld qualification methods and procedures. (WPS / PQR / WPQ).
Codes and standards relevant to Steel raw material, pipes, fittings, flanges, hardware, gasket, structural steel, etc., (ASTM, ASME, DIN, ISO, ANSI, IBR regulations, etc.).
Site inspection : Installation of static & rotating equipment, Ducting & piping work and visual inspection of piping weld joint by Baroscopic.
Review of documents like Test certificates, inward and in-process internal inspection reports from vendors, etc.
Tolerance standards for fabricated equipment, and checking of equipment based on the same.
Assembly of rotating & static equipment.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Graduate / Diploma mechanical Engineer with NDT level 2 and having 7-10 years of experience in Quality inspection and Quality assurance in fabrication indiustries / manufacturing industries. Awarness on ISO/ AMSE/EN /DIN standrads.
