Are you looking to use your mechanical design engineering skills to help develop aerospace filtration products to meet critical customer needs?  The Senior Engineer I - Aerospace is responsible for performing mechanical design engineering activities for Aerospace applications, ensuring safe, reliable, and easy-to-manufacture products while leading design efforts, participating in technical meetings, supporting proposals, and driving continuous improvement.


This position is part of Pall’s Global Aerospace Engineering team and will be located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:


  • Generate and check designs which meet customer specifications and offer safe, reliable and robust designs which are easy to manufacture, operate and maintain.
  • Participate and lead technical projects and meetings with other groups at Pall as well as customers and suppliers.
  • Identify and apply new technologies and processes, reducing costs and increasing efficiencies.

The essential requirements of the job include:


  • Strong grasp of advanced mechanical design principles specific to aircraft air and fluid systems. Ability to optimize design within subsystems and ensure alignment with overall project requirements.
  • Ability to present complex project information to engineers, management, and customers in fluent written and spoken English.
  • Leading projects with cross-functional and multi-cultural project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and understanding.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in design of filtration products or equivalent.
  • B.E / B.Tech (mechanical or aerospace)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:


  • Leading continuous improvement and VAVE projects.
  • Prototyping and early-stage product development.
