Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Do
· Deliver/execute assigned project and ensure to meet 100% quality (Scope, Schedule and Budget defined for a project) and high level of customer satisfaction.
· Follows the procedure of RA engineering standards and in SSB Quality Management System (QMS) while executing project work.
· Drive standardization in project and applications. Maximize reusability of standardized documents, applications and engineering in projects.
· Specific to project resource requirement and resource budget, leads engineers from mix of LCS, Global Engineering Center and CWF to attain project scope within schedule and budget. Continuously develops self, develop capability of team members and motivates them to deliver with high productivity.
· Break down project activities, identify effort/skills required to complete the activities and sequence the activities. Communicates to his manager or the project lead regarding the resource requirement as per the schedule of project activities.
· Proactive communication to team lead/ Execution Manager/Project Lead and whenever required to customer during project execution.
· Keep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange best practice with other team members to improve team’s capabilities.
· Cost reduction through process & manufacturing improvement, through development of reusable engineering, engineering standardization and use of available productivity tools.
· Work closely with the project management team to achieve customer acceptance. Demonstrate application & technical expertise to get repeat orders and retain customer satisfaction. Participates in capability demonstrations and sales support activities whenever required.
· Support Team Leader / Lead Engineer on technical issues and work with Team Leader/Lead Engineer to manage technical risk in project. Works closely with Team Leader / Lead Engineer to get customer acceptance.

Job Related Competencies
· High level of technical knowledge, hands on experience on RA hardware and software products like Control Logix, Logix/Studio 5000, FT View SE, AC & DC Drive. Additionally, candidates having good knowledge of AC & DC Drive. Candidates with expertise on similar products from other makes and who are learners may also apply.
· High level of knowledge in Integrated Architecture, Standard Drives, Conventional/Intelligent Motor Control, Safety Products, MES / Information Systems, Networking and a basic understanding of Motion Control, Low Voltage Product and Drive System.
· High level of Application Knowledge in Metals, Fiber & Pulp & Paper and basic understanding of Project Management, Lean Six Sigma Skill, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).
· Good team player, efficient and proactive and effective communications during project execution.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
· Instrumentation / Control / Electronics Engineer.
· 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in application and engineering of the Automation System in Metals, Paper & Fiber domain. Efficient in handling the execution of project activities, executes critical project activities.
· Should have gone through complete project life cycle from design phase to commissioning in Metal Process Lines, Paper Lines.
· Should have good understanding of AC & DC Drive application. Should have good understanding of Process line of metals like - CGL, CCL, Pickling line requirements.
· Candidate with Knowledge of IDC, Virtual Machines and networking will get additional consideration.
· Is cost conscious and keeps an update of the cost incurred versus planned. Takes conscious decision during project execution to support the PM control project costs.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Travel – 50 to 60%
· Actual travel will vary based on business and work requirement.
