Job Description
  • 7 - 10 Years of experience in wastewater/water industry.
  • Experience in designing/drafting various components of wastewater treatment systems like – ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR, Digesters, Solids Handling systems, etc.
  • Experience in designing/drafting various components of water treatment systems including conventional and advance system (e.g., desalination systems).
  • Experience in assisting Project Engineers/Sr. Engineers on various design tasks/deliverables like-
  • Prepare detailed electrical design and drawings for new construction and renovations to existing water treatment facilities, water booster pump stations, wastewater pump stations, and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Provide design, production and documentation for electrical power and distribution systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, etc.
  • Develop electrical drawings for water infrastructure projects using AutoCAD, REVIT and BIM
  • Production of tender documents such as P&IDs, single line diagrams, control network diagrams, electrical hazardous area & grounding drawings, electrical and instrument location drawings, loop & schematic wiring diagrams and standard details
  • Strictly adhere to AECOM's project CADD standards, including capability of learning and adopting clients' standard and requirements upon request
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of technical aspect on project documentation produced in accordance with AECOM QA/QC procedures and the clients' standards
  • Take direction from Engineers and Project Leads
  • Ensure that project deliverables are produced in a timely manner to expected quality and allocated budget
  • Efficiently and effectively handles multiple tasks independently
  • Providing mentoring and support for junior cad technicians.

Qualifications
  • Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university.
  • Drafting course from a recognized institute.
  • Working experience using REVIT, Autocad and Microstation
  • Professional registration in their designated home office country or be in active pursuit of such registration.
