KEY WORKING PARAMETERS


Focus, Scope, & Impact:


  • Responsible for leading the digital transformation in the way our brands connect, communicate and transact with our audiences and shoppers.
  • Prospect and leverage digital trends and data, while collaborating with digital platforms, to offer enriching consumer experiences that will drive higher brand transactions.
  • Build a compelling digital strategy for content and engagement, and a strong brand narrative across our owned platforms: Social, commerce & platforms
  • Leverage our deep analytical knowledge across platforms (local & global) including social media channels, ecommerce platforms, brand websites, to create a strong digital persona for the brands
  • Leading local relationships with key digital partners like Google, Meta, Jio, Amazon, Twitter etc. to develop deeper integrations.
  • Conceptualize and execute digital marketing and digital commerce campaigns, including D2C + B2B2C + B2B
  • The ‘Digital lead’ will be leading a team that will own one or more part of the above role
  • The Digital Lead plays a key role in disrupt the way we do marketing and educate/spread that throughout the organization in partner with IMX lead and Executive leaders.

KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS


Experience


  • Digital – Jedi: significant marketing and digital experience, including digital commerce, digital platforms, and data-driven experiences (13+ years)
    • Some experience in working with/ for CPGs with great focus on understanding the consumer (needs, journey, micro moments)
    • Some experience in working with marketing function is preferred
    • Some experience in working with large e-commerce platforms is preferred
  • Communicating, influence and negotiate across multiple stakeholders
  • Leading strategic conversations, negotiations and alignment with senior and key stakeholders

Work Focus


  • Deep understanding of the evolved media landscape, digital platforms, data and e-commerce
  • Expertise in working with different external partners (i.e.: agencies, production houses, media companies, influencers) and with big digital players (Google, Facebook, Amazon)
  • Ability to work in Agile cross-functional teams

Communication Focus


  • Role will require communication with OUP, OU Mkt lead, OU C&CL lead, Franchise leads OU marketing team, global IMX lead and OU IMX leads in other OUs;
  • Role will also interact frequently with external parties, particularly the main digital players
  • Key role in educating / exciting the system on disruptive ways to approach marketing
