About You and This Role:


As a Senior Digital Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing sales to our foundational customers in the P & SP Business. You are accountable for non-selling processes and tasks inherent in the sales process. This includes generating leads, outlining sales territories, managing sales analytics, and providing support via phone and email to customers. The scope can include the India Subcontinent and regional/segment-specific areas if aligned with the business.


Your role requires an understanding of polymers and the industry dynamics of polyethylene and its derivatives. The primary responsibilities will be to manage existing business worth over USD 5 to 7 million and drive strategic growth in target segments and customers. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the packaging and industrial & consumer segments/industries to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow presence in the region.
  • Understand customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain market share.
  • Search for new product development opportunities within the market.
  • Develop customer relationships and expand the network within customer organizations.
  • Execute sales/marketing plans, delivering in volume and value.
  • Develop sales forecasts in coordination with production and supply chain.
  • Lead negotiations and develop price strategies aligned with business goals, considering legal implications and Dow sales processes.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical or polymer preferred); a Master's in Business Administration is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 6+ years of experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry.

  • This is a digital sales role, and the candidate is expected to have good verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should also have good learning agility to understand all the digital tools to serve our customers and grow the business.
