About The Team
The Diagnostics Direct Procurement department’s vision is to be procurement entrepreneurs, with an ability to design and orchestrate innovative, agile and sustainable supplier networks. The Direct Procurement Team consists of more than 180 people at 10 different locations in the US, Europe and Asia.
The position
As a (Senior) Digital Enablement Manager, you will work in a dynamic global environment where you will meet the challenge of bringing structured thinking, facilitation, execution, and focus to digitalization in procurement, looking for suitable technology, enabling self-service and automation. Using your specialized knowledge and in-depth expertise in digital transformations, you will proactively identify and drive opportunities that support customer needs and positively impact efficiency and customer experience. You are an ambassador for procurement digitization and provide strategy thought leadership.
You will work closely with global procurement teams, IT, external providers, and other relevant colleagues to align on needs, opportunity identification, and priority to develop, enhance, or deploy digital solutions and governance to our internal customers.
Your tasks
You develop and govern the digital enablement strategy for procurement, identify and assess digital tools and (AI-)technologies that can enhance procurement processes
You will collaborate with (senior) leadership, team members, and partner functions to define the digital vision and roadmap for Diagnostics Direct Procurement and ensure digital tools are aligned with the overall business objectives and procurement strategy
You build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT, and other business units. You understand the needs and priorities of different stakeholder groups and tailor digital initiatives accordingly
You communicate the benefits and progress of digitalization, develop and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to keep stakeholders informed and use data analytics as well as success stories to demonstrate the Return on Investment (ROI) of digitalization
You are steadily analyzing Procurement Processes and solutions to improve them through digitalization continuously
You support and guide digitalization projects, and solution deployment activities and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and external partners to ensure a correct understanding of the requirements
You support activities in the area of Organizational Change Management to ensure the acceptance and actively work on adopting new digital solutions. This can include training, communication, and supporting change agents within the organization.
What you bring to the table
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred and can offer a competitive advantage
You bring 5-7 years in a digital transformation role, with at least 3 years in procurement, or related areas like supply chain or finance. Your extensive experience in digital transformation is crucial for effectively leading digital initiatives and your solid experience in procurement ensures a deep understanding of procurement processes, technologies, and best practices
You have a good understanding of Digital solutions such AI Models, Machine Learning, Robot Process Automation, and you are familiar with digital tools such as e-procurement platforms, SRM systems, spend analytics, and other emerging technologies
We can rely on your proficient project management skills and your ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources and meet deadlines
You are experienced in communicating with senior stakeholders within procurement as well as throughout Roche and persuade them of the benefits of new technology, strategies, or offerings. You are able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
You convince with your ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns, trends, and insights and your strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and implement effective solutions
You have experience in working with diverse teams and fostering a collaborative work environment and you lead and motivate teams to achieve common goals
We expect you to be business fluent in English and ideally German
