We are seeking a passionate and innovative Senior Digital Writer to join Amazon India's in-house creative team, Team D1. As part of Amazon’s XCM marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative strategies that drive impactful digital content across a variety of channels. You will craft compelling copy for digital marketing campaigns, social media posts, digital films, and influencer scripts. This role requires a strong understanding of digital platforms, creative strategy, and storytelling, with the ability to create customer-focused content that drives engagement and strengthens Amazon's digital presence.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including brand managers, visual designers, and media managers to develop and execute content strategies that strengthen Amazon's position as the most loved and relevant brand for our customers.

Key job responsibilities
* Develop and execute creative strategy: Lead the creation of innovative digital campaigns by conceptualising and executing a clear and compelling creative strategy that aligns with business objectives.
* Collaborate with stakeholders: Understand, question, and refine stakeholder briefs to create compelling campaigns that exceed customer expectations.
* Leverage social media expertise: Use deep knowledge of social media platforms to deliver campaigns that excel in art and storytelling, following best practices across media.
* Day-to-day management of briefs: Handle digital and social media briefs, collaborating with art partners and internal teams to bring ideas to life.
* Oversee agency work: Supervise and manage digital agency partners to ensure high-quality execution of campaigns.
* Write a wide variety of content: From digital film scripts and social media posts to influencer scripts, you’ll write across a range of formats to support campaign objectives.
* Ideate and innovate: Lead the creation of fresh, customer-focused digital campaigns that inspire delight and engage audiences across digital channels.
* Drive a creative culture: Actively participate in and contribute to a culture of creativity, inspiring the team to raise the bar on every project.
* Manage timelines and collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to manage timelines, pitch ideas, and ensure the smooth delivery of creative work.
* Coordinate with external partners: Work with influencers, agencies, developers, and digital production teams to bring creative concepts to fruition.

About the team
Team D1 is a specialised creative team within Amazon India’s XCM Marketing Team. We are responsible for delivering impactful creative across onsite design and digital marketing campaigns. We work closely with various internal stakeholders, agencies, and external partners to deliver innovative content that speaks to Amazon's diverse customer base.
- 6+ years of experience in a digital or social media agency, or within an in-house digital team.
- A standout portfolio showcasing digital campaigns that demonstrate original thinking, creative use of social media, writing craft, and fresh ideation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Creative strategy expertise: Strong ability to develop and execute creative strategies that drive digital marketing success and resonate with target audiences.
- Scrappy and insightful: You’re a self-starter who is able to tackle challenges creatively and drive results independently.
- Proven experience in digital creative writing with a focus on social media and digital campaigns.
- Proven ownership: You have a track record of taking ownership and driving results on creative projects from inception to execution.
