Senior DevOps Engineer

Technical Competencies 

Candidate should have experience in a DevOps culture, working with multi-disciplinary teams (Developers, Architects, Operations and Testers) to fully automate and build Platform for application environments in the Cloud, spearheading automation and high performing system projects.

Strong understanding and knowledge of Container Orchestration, & Scripting is a must

A thorough understanding of System administration is a must, and specific experience with Linux and windows required.  

• Hands-on experience in handing containerized applications using Kubernetes/Openshiftis must.

  
  

• Good Experience with Dockeris must.

  
  

• Hands-on experience on any one Configuration Management Tool (Salt or Puppet or Terraform).

  
  

• AWS Services preferred (Cloud Formation, Lambda, EMR, RDS, Redshift, Data pipeline, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, EC2, SQS, SNS, ECS, ELB, S3/EBS, etc.) or similar Public Cloud platform, must have .

  
  

• Excellent Scripting skills in either Shell or Python - musthave.

  
  

• Strong hands-on experience with any CI-CD tools (Jenkins or Azure DevOps).

  
  

• Good experience on Networking Technologies like Load balancer, Firewall and DNS.

  
  

• Good understanding of N/W concepts on AWS VPC setup, Security Groups, IAM roles and policies.

  
  

• Experience on LMA (Logging, Monitoring and Alerting) using monitoring tools e.g. AWS CloudWatch, ELK etc.

  
  

• Experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database technologies.

  
  

• Strong infrastructure automation experience using tools like Jenkins, GO or any similar build deployment tools.

  
  

• Must have strong communication skills, presentation skills, and be able to deconstruct complex problems and projects into execution detail.

  
  

• Continuous delivery experience.

  
  

• 2+ years’ AWS experience required.

  
  

• 2+ years’ experience on any container technology is required.

  
  

• Experience in large/complex and agile environments.

  
  

• Ability to multi-task, be highly organized, and work independently.
