Job Description

  • Automate & Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage robust build, integration, and deployment automation processes to ensure continuous, efficient software delivery.
  • Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Quickly identify and resolve build, release, and deployment challenges to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Monitor & Enhance Performance: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, security, and scalability of the build and release processes.
  • Version Control & Code Management: Implement best practices for version control and branching strategies, ensuring smooth code management across environments.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce security policies and standards within the build and release pipelines, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Build Environment Management: Maintain and optimize build environments, tools, and dependencies to ensure smooth, consistent releases.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Document build and release processes, ensuring knowledge sharing across teams and consistent workflows.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements to build and release workflows to better support agile software development processes.

Skills

  • Expertise in Azure DevOps: Proficient in managing Azure DevOps pipelines, build tools, and artifact management for efficient CI/CD processes.
  • Scripting & Automation: Strong experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation tools to streamline development and deployment tasks.
  • CI/CD & Build Tools: Hands-on experience with popular CI/CD tools and platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  • Version Control Systems: Solid understanding of version control and branching strategies, particularly with Git and GitHub.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Experience working with cloud-based infrastructures (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) to support scalable deployments.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work cross-functionally with development, QA, and operations teams.
  • Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in complex, high-pressure environments.
